Product Information
Are all the drug products which you offer branded?
All the products included in our product listings are generic.
What do you mean when you say that the drugs are generic? Are generic drugs similar in potency and effect as their branded counterparts?
There is nothing different between generic and branded medications, aside from varying in the pill shapes and color, the carrying price, and the name. Branded medication producers use a brand name for their drugs while generic drug manufacturers use the active component in the drug as a label to the product itself. Since there is a law against putting up a patent for ownership of a chemical substance, all drug producers can legally put out products carrying generic labels on them. This type of medication is basically the same in chemical composition as the branded versions, and has an identical medical result. In consequence, you, the consumer, ends up with quality generic medications at a fraction of the cost of the branded counterparts.
There is a big difference between generic and branded medications in terms of appearance and in their names. Why should this be so?
Drug producers cannot secure a patent for the chemical component in their products, but they have to keep the medicines different in some way which is easily identifiable; this distinction is expected to translate into profit, so they put out a patent for the product name and the tablet appearance, making this a part of company property. Any producer who copies the patented design and brand name are subject to prosecution. This is why generic drugs appear different; the infringement laws protecting the branded ones must be respected.
What keeps generic medications at such a low cost?
The manufacturers who put out branded drugs have to invest a lot of money into internal development and research, and also into product advertisements. There is also the requirement of an approval from the FDA before the product is allowed for general use. Generic drug producers have no problems in relation to shouldering such expenses; consequently, they can put out an affordable product without ever compromising its quality.
How do you ensure that the potency and efficacy of your products are kept at top quality?
The consistency of the high quality of every drug product we put out is our foremost concern. The loyalty of our customer base depends on this; any slight discrepancy in drug quality, and our revenues suffer substantially. To maintain this status, we take strict measures in the selection of our drug suppliers, the quality control of the medications, and the documentation of each stage of product supervision. These medicines are produced by an FDA and state-licensed company which is based in India. Every product we ship out comes with a Certificate, secured from the producer's main laboratory, and is in full compliance to Indian laws.
